Netverifier - Is there a tutorial page?
I'm trying to transfer some big avs sites to netverifier but I'm a little confused as to the process.
I've submitted a site on the "add a site" page but cant find anywhere to get the code to place on my site, ie. the signup script. Do I have to wait until my site has been approved and then I'll get the code, possibly via email? Also, my sites are big premium/prestige/elite sites. Is there an option somewhere for me to request it to be reviewed to upgrade it from basic to elite? I'm pretty sure that once I've managed to migrate one of my big sites to netverifier I'll never have to ask these basic questions again Many thanks in advance. BTW, I'm migrating my sites from cybersexnetwork as they are closing webmaster accounts and keeping the rebills. This also affects cyberage and ugas accounts, so if you use either of these 3 avs systems (all owned by the same company), go check to see if you can still login to the webmasters area. If you cant, you've been dumped, so do as I'm doing, and find another avs company quick. |

You should be able to submit the site. It will automaticly be a basic site. You should then be able to get the code by going to http://www.netverifier.com/wm/getCode.asp
You should also be able to view the page site stats http://www.netverifier.com/wm/sites.asp and be able to request a site upgrade to elite. If your still having problems or this is not working for you please send me a pm with further info.

Thankkyou for the quick reply.
Is it okay to just use text or an image / banner of my own as the link, or do I have to use one of the banners from the http://www.netverifier.com/wm/getCode.asp page |

If you want to link directly to the join page on NetVerifier, you can link to it like this: Code:
http://netverifier.com/join/join.asp?siteid=numbercodeofsite

Have you written, or called them on the phone, asked the reasons behind this? I make more money with NV, but I also have CyberAge sites for years now, and I've never heard of a webmaster being just dumped. I'd give them a call and ask their reasons behind it.

Thanks RedCherry, the ability to use text links and appropriate home made banners of my own is a big boost.
With the last avs system I was using there were only a couple of their signup scripts available. One straight, and one very gay (men). As my sites were mostly for crossdressers, men in panties etc, neither of the ready made ones were appropriate. |

I still had half a dozen big avs sites with them, admittedly only making the occasional sale, but still pulling in an easy $150 a month to just have them sitting there. I know that's not exactly a fortune but to some of us, its money that we cant afford to lose. Sales everywhere have continued to fall this year and any sudden loss in revenue is another nail in the coffin to my ailing finances. There was no need for them to dump me without any word or warning, a simple email would have sufficed and allowed me to make a strategic withdrawal. And I don't think its fair that they get to keep all the rebilling money that they will continue to make from my existing customers. Fair enough the rebills will start to tail off but based on past rebilling patterns they stand to make somewhere between $500 to $800 over the next 12 months from my rebills. I'm a poor webmaster, I could really do with that money Here is a quote from their email to me, the sentence that really bugs me ... "Both accounts have been closed. The rebills in the accounts will go into our reserve account to help cover costs with overall chargebacks." I suppose I should be thankful that they have told me what they are going to do with my money! |

I would hope you have your own hosting. This would allow you to point your members page to the signup page of the other if you have not done this already.
With your content being quite niche oriented I doubt that there would be lots of rebills if your content is pulled. |

Yes, I have me own hosting, with 3 different hosting companies. I don't like having all my eggs in one basket!
Pointing the existing members page to the new signup page, what a brilliant idea I'll have in place before this weekend is out. Most of my sites have been on the go for over 5 years. I'm convinced that some of my rebillers either don't check their credit card bills or have forgotten what they signed up for and will continue to rebill until their credit cards run out. That money has effectively been stolen from me, there's no excuse for that. |

While you're here Hasbury... where did the message board go at Netverifier? I realise it wasn't that busy... but this issue should probably have come up there.

grandmascrotum, when you sign in to NV click on the home link. There is an explanation why the board is temporarily missing. Personally, I think it's an absolute BS reason.

The board was a good thing, wm's helped each other on it. Taking it down, and leaving that very negative message on the homepage will do more to discourage new NV wm's than the board ever did.

I'm a jaded evil bastard, I wouldn't piss on myself if I was on fire...

Not knowing the rules for getting a site listed isn't especially helpful either - I'd have liked to have asked on their board
