Pr fluctuates up and down. Link lists aren't where it's at anymore. Nowadays you need your own private blog network.

Blog networks are currently favored by Google's algorithm, but that can change, just like it did for link lists. Don't put all your traffic eggs in one basket.

Heck a lot of tgps are ranked number one for a lot of keywords too. Which I've been trying to wrap my head around how that works out. Specially since a lot of times all the images don't even follow proper good webmaster guidelines. No title tags, etc. etc.
