After reading a few news stories lately about republicans suddenly compromising with the dems, does anyone get the feeling that maybe some of the folks on the right side of the aisle might not like their own candidates for POTUS? Perhaps they know they have a good thing in Obama. Other than health care, he really hasn't done any of the stuff that pisses off the republican base. He isn't touching guns, he isn't harming the freedom of religion, he isn't making you proclaim at least one gay child her household on the census, etc.
