Adult Entertainment Virtual Convention

I just saw this on Loki Cash, the first convention I can attend for free without leaving my chair.

http://www.adultvirtualconvention.com/index.aspx Feb 24 - 26th. Couldn't get the name RedCherry, so had to sign up as WebDiva (my other alter ego). Be cool to see how this goes.

I've never played a SIM, but it is a virtual world you can walk around in, so I'm guessing you can "attend" meetings and listen to lectures. I know when I've checked the worlds out, when I walked in to some stores they had music on, so I'm guessing you would hear the speakers (at the lectures) the same way

It is an absolutely horrendous port using the Wine libraries so us Mac uses won't be using it.

I went to it last night and hung out in teh after party for a while. They closed off the club stream at midnight est - all the girls from utherverse hanging out complained lol.

redlight is a shitty interface compared to secondlife.

crazy people have it happen during the day - what, are you out of your damn minds? it's virtual, have it in the evening when more can attend.

I expect to be there this evening too. probably close the place like I did last night.

shame that avatars for basics look like crap, lol. Very limited avatar editing powers. and no sex for basics.

cool idea tho. Sit at home smokin some herb chatting with webmasters and getting hit on by virtual chicks. I dont really drink much so the idea of bars are kinda yaaaawn to me.

Loki is a GREAT guy. I spent an hour with him touring his parts of the virtual world he has built, and I'm in the process of creating my own store at UV. 2 million members who like virtual "porn" = great target audience for my 3D sites.

After a lot of thought, we went with an avatar called 3DFiends and upgraded her to premium. With that name, either Jim (who goes more often as Renderfiend now) or I can use it, and we got the domain 3DFiends as our hub for our 3D sites, which I built yesterday. I plan on having a webmaster section too with links to my toon sites other webmasters can promote also, and we are considering putting up some of our older toon content for sale as a package for anyone who wants it for pay sites, or AVS sites, with limited number of sales.

I really enjoyed the talks both Friday (I sat in on all of them) and Saturday. I met a woman who designs clothes for avatars in there, who has a virtual store that would be the size of a 3 story big box store, it is amazing what people have done in there.
