Christy, who I couldn't even get to go snorkeling at first, is way better than I am at holding her breath and going down deep. We have one friend that we go with sometimes. He has taken a lot of free diving courses and can stay under for almost three minutes as he swims around. |

Morning all. If you haven't read my face book, then I've been dealing with my sister in the hospital since yesterday. She definitely has Stevens-Johnson Syndrome and is considered to be burned over 90% of her body. The good news is she has specialist who is an immunologist who has treated many cases of this and is confident she will recover. She is in a lot of pain, every square inch of her is covered in hives and blisters and it is in all of her organs too.  She has a team of 5 doctors and 2 full-time nurses looking over her, and the hospital she is at has one of the best burn units in the country. (which is really odd, considering it is in inner-city Flint.Needless to say I'm having a hard time working and sleeping worrying about her. Went out and shoveled 500# of organic compost to get my mind off it this morning. But now I'm trying to work and my concentration is shit. That is my morning. Everyone take care, and tell your loved ones how much you love them, you never know what will happen to you or them.
