I'm not sure how I got the idea to do things this way, but my sites are all pretty large (10-20 photo galleries and > 20 movies of 3-20 minutes each in each site). How large do other people build free sites for purposes of search engine optimization and affiliate marketing? Maybe I'm on the wrong track here...have to think about the options...

Well, I will get to work assembling ten sites for you to review, Greenie. (I want to know if I know what I'm doing too!)

I can't submit to the open form because my sites have G. Analytics and social media buttons (javascript) and most of my banners are iframes.

Two quick questions, if you don't mind - if you're busy don't worry about it.

1. Would you consider counting blogs with >10 substantial posts each among the 10 free sites?
2. I've been experimenting lately with incorporating internal linking and site layout into a "warning page" to avoid the search engine cost of a traditional warning page. Would you consider something like this an adequate warning page? I can't decide myself, and I'm actively working on this idea/page.

BTW, I hate to be the guy asking for site advice in a forum (and I'm not asking for that!...although any advice is always appreciated given my inexperience.) This is a small, new site and the first time I ever used WordPress.

I promise to cut down on the length of these posts. Thank you all again for having me in your forum.

That's WAY too many for one Free Site. A Free Site, in it's most basic form, is: Warning Page ---> Main Page ---> 2 Gallery Pages with 12 pics or 60 seconds of movies per gallery.

What a lot of people also do are create a hub page where they link to all their Free Sites (like the root of the domain) It doesn't have to be anything fancy:

No, but that would be good for a warning page for your hub.

I think I do need to start paying more attention to these standards/guidelines. They probably exist for a reason, i.e. they work for people. Plus, whatever I'm doing at present isn't working so well.
