I'm stepping into new territory, at least for me... Promotion via social media. Been thinking about this for some time, but needed to find a way that doesn't eat up a bunch of time like creating a zillion Twitter accounts to spam hash tags.

I noticed that a recent update to WordPress JetPack allows you to create a connection with specific social media accounts. So... I created a Facebook page to match the blog I use for my AVS site update posts. Now, every fifth day when a new post is published to the blog there's a corresponding entry made to the FB page. No additional work required after setting up the page.

Just one entry so far on the new FB page, but another will get added every five days. I'll do some more active promo of the FB page once there are 5 or 6 entries.
