Ram - actually, the Gatorade is "low cal" with only 45 calories for a 20 oz (591 mL) bottle. The Monster - Monster Energy Zero Ultra has no calories & is honestly the best tasting no/low calorie energy drink I've ever had...and you know I've had a lot of them Of course, it does contain a lot of words that I can't pronounce, but none of the words are "aspartame"

Good morning world

The good news is that while you're no longer getting your daily dose of the flame retardant chemical BVO (brominated vegetable oil) in Mountain Dew, there's a chance you may still get some in your Gatorade if you like the orange or citrus flavors. Gatorade has recently promised to phase out their use of BVO over the next several months, but there's still plenty on store shelves and in the distribution chain.

If you do like those flavors you could switch to the powder version and just add your own dihydrogen monoxide since the BVO is only needed in the pre-mixed versions.

Or if you want to be sure you don't spontaneously combust one day, you can also get your daily dose of BVO in Fresca Original Citrus, Fanta Orange, Sun Drop, Squirt, Sunkist Pineapple and some flavors of Powerade. Or just chew on some polystyrene foam cushions or the plastics used in electronic devices, where it's used to slow the chemical reactions that cause a fire.

Plenty of articles about negative side-effects of Monster energy drinks too.

So, really, the best thing would be to follows Ramster's advice and just drink pure dihydrogen monoxide without mixing in anything, except maybe a twist of citrus limonium.

Of course you should take this all with a grain of salt, since it's being posted by someone who views bacon as one of the major food groups and who willingly consumes more than a grain of salt daily.

Wishing a good weekend to all.

"Well, hey, these things just snap right off."
