...and Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers.

I hope you have a better kayaking day today, Cleo, than your "oyster encounter" a few days ago.

Mostly just another day here since I'm too old to have a mother to visit. Probably catch up on some work, get a newsletter mailing ready, and relax a bit to get ready for another week.

Kayaking went fine but just as we were getting ready to leave the house our neighbor came over to let us know that one of our cats had been hit and killed right in front of our house. Kind of put a gloom over the day's activities.
