Are these sales in America or abroad? There's no questioning there's a large Japanese population living in the US, I'd be wise to promote it more.

This is a very interesting question ! I have the feeling that there is more to do with Japanese people living in Japan and sharing their preferred sites with their Japanese friends, but I don't live in the U.S. so not sure I'm right

There was a great program on the french "Travel" channel yesterday regarding sex in Japan.
Did you know that they have shops where young (!!!) girls come and resell their worn panties, school uniforms etc ?

They also explained that there is no legal age for sex in Japan and erotism is most of time associated with young girls images.

Any picture of REAL people having sex is not allowed, this is why the hentai is so strong over there.

I'm gonna try & directly get in touch with webmasters living in Japan :-P

I think that show was a bit off. Especially about the young stuff. These days that is more fantasy than reality. Penalties for underage content are increasingly severe. People still talk about the panty vending machines but they have not been around for years. Used panties that is.

There are fairly big populations in US and other country but many Japanese are returning home these days if they can.

Still, a 1st ever Ramen Yokocho Fest this past weekend was a huge success in Torrance, south bay of Los Angeles. Demographic was a marketers dream, young to 50's, tattoos, upscale and the girls were smoking hot all ethnicities.

We ate at this place, silverlakeramen.com - They were among the vendors. Absolutely delicious. A new thing is ramen burgers. Can't wait to try. I guess Japan's answer to Krispy Kreme burgers, lol.

Hentai is also censored. Plenty of pics and images of real people having sex are available, just pixelated.

It is definitely a complicated business both culturally and economically.
We have been working with Japanese content since 2005. Still learn something new every day.

I'm gonna run a few campaigns with our very specific product and see how it goes... I really wonder if Japanese people are attracted by non asian girls... I suppose I'm gonna use a young brunette first, like Little Caprice !

Slender and super cute east Euro or Russian girls are well liked.

You are welcome. Japanese do like non-Asian girls but only a small percentage can make the grade. I have not seen Little Caprice. You get one shot so make it great!

Best thing is to have an experienced person who speaks, reads and writes Japanese and of course English and has experience in the market and with businesses there.

BTW, I'm not pitching you for work. We are booked solid. In fact I've got some ADs up on Japanese language boards looking for help.

Most of our sales are from Japan. Over the last few years, I've been translating and marketing Japanese sites to the English speaking market.
