I try to avoid all stores both Saturday and Sunday. Too many people, and most are assholes! I also try to avoid picking a week that includes a public holiday for my actual holiday. Again too many people, and most are assholes.

Husky News

When I walk the husky I normally take sandwiches. I don't bother with a big bag, just a few sandwiches in a small bag shoved in my pocket. Since he gets a share of my lunch, he usually sniffs my pocket to see what we have for our picnic.

Yesterday I realised about 11pm ish that I had no sandwich filling. I rushed to the local grocer and all they had left was humus and coleslaw, so I got those and mixed them in the sandwiches.

The husky is getting old, so I let him choose the walk. If he is feeling fit, he takes us on a long walk to a picnic spot reasonably far off. If he is not feeling so good he will lead me to a nearer picnic spot, and we will have a shorter walk. Today he sniffed the sandwiches, found they contained ground chick peas, shredded cabbage, and carrot. And then I let him choose the walk. He took me straight to the local drive through McDonald's!!!!!!
