Morning.

Just realized that I used 2016 in yesterday's thread. Remember when you wrote cheques and were afraid that you'd write the wrong year? I write maybe 10 a year now.

Back to work for a full day except going to pick up a piece of glass for a repair at my house and maybe a Costco triip. May watch Raptors basketball tonight. They are doing particularly well as of late.

Having a real hard time waking up this morning.

Work, Home Depot to get a chain for a bike lock, Target to get cheap bike lights and bell, make sure place is spotless for tomorrow's guest, and then the local pub tonight is my day's plans so far.

I'm alive & well - had the fucking flu for the last few days, but feel basically normal now

Had 2 doctor appts today, but now it's time for work

I wrote just one cheque last year. And that is one more than I wrote in 2015.

I get the jab each year, apparently I'm in the "high risk of death" group when it comes to flu. I'm lucky in that the government pay for it, but even if I had to pay I'd go for it. In the past I've lost more money from being "too sick with the flu to work" than the cost of the jab, so it makes economic sense (plus there is that "high risk of death" thing to get me to the doctor's each fall).

Sadly it does not stop me catching a cold, which is what I am still suffering from at the moment.
