Wednesday January 11th (aka Power Is Back On)

Power is on today.

Transferring my phone number to new service. Followed all the very confusing instructing including the ones in light grey text on white in a really tiny font. While waiting for the transfer to complete called them to make sure I'd done everything correctly and got a very nice person on the other end with an Indian accent that I'm not sure what their gender was, not that it matters. Now just waiting for my service to stop at which time I have to insert the new SIM card and follow some more confusing direction in a tiny grey font.
