Tuesday - June 13th - WE PASSED!!
We have two small areas of moisture to deal with - one in the bathroom and one in the shower area, but they are minor things that we can fix ourselves. Oh, and we need to clean out the gutters. The house needs a really good deep cleaning, too. Really, pretty much normal maintenance stuff. The sale is going to go through!!! We figure we will be moving during August, as the repairs will take time and there are things we want to do like paint the kitchen cabinets and get screens on all the windows. We are also putting "plant" shelves under all the windows so our cat can have a safe place to look out.
YEEHAW!!! So, I guess i had best get back to work. Ethnic Passions actually got split into categories last night. Progress is slow, but definitely there. Now to keep on filling....

Morning!
Pagan - That's GREAT NEWS!! So I get a notification from Instagram that my dad has an account, so I go look....and I'm blocked I love my family Speaking of family love, The Bitch no longer speaks to her cousin, but we're still in contact with her daughter, who's a great kid (well, she's 18 so I guess she's a great young adult). She wanted to use the pool & hot tub at least 1 more time before we sell the house, so I just fired up the hot tub for her & her friends Lots off offline running to do today. Have to pick up the ASSIL, then visit my doctor, and finally a trip to the chiro. Have a great family filled day everyone |

Good Morning
Pagan, congrats to you on the house. Not much going on here other than I really should start working on the house but I think this might be put off again till next week as we are meeting up with people Friday night and don't want to put my back out. Going to finish a site today, play the drums and do some grunt work while binging on netflix. I have finished up Orange Is The New Black so I think I'm going to watch Arrow's new season next. Anyhoo, have a good day! |

I do also play some drums, although it's basically Guitar (and Bass) I play the most. Actually I haven't had access to a drum-kit in 15 years. :-(
So, I am considering buying a digital one, so I can drum a bit again. I love drumming and regret not going down that road when I was 15. The world needs drummers. Not so much guitarists. 13 on a dozen, isn't that an expresssion? When you say "play the drums" do you mean a analog kit or a digital one? Curious Jolly |

Looking back, I should of kept playing (I suck now, lol) or at least continued writing music (played little guitar/bass) and drum programming. I did some programming for a couple guitarist/singer/songwriters for their demo tapes as I had a little home studio at that time as well. Packed it all up and slowly gave it all way over the years. Anyhoo, for my birthday a couple months back I got the new digital Alesis Crimson kit, couple extra cymbals, double pedal, monitor/amp (so I don't have to wear headphones all the time) and extra goodies. Was not sure how I would enjoy it or stick to it so my wife decided that spending 2 thousand was a lot cheaper than the 5 I would of for the Roland kit I wanted (that's including all goodies). It's been good so far, except for the fact that I suck and that gets frustrating when playing along with songs I use to play with ease way back when. This is my exercise program right now as I play for an hour, 3 to 5 days a week. I need more exercise but this is a start If I continue and the chops actually come back then I may buy an acoustic set to jam with people or the Roland kit I wanted and let my grandson have this one, thou he shows no interest at this time |

Cool! Thank you for the reply I am browsing everywhere to find something I can afford and live with. Analog kit ain't a solution where I live. So it has to be digital, but there's so many factors to consider... Again, thx for answer. And keep rockin' JR Jlly Last edited by jollyhumper; 2017-06-13 at 05:36 PM..
