Saturday February 17th (aka The Painting Finale)

Morning!

I know you're all just DYING to know how my ceiling painting went yesterday

I waited until all my necessary work was done in case I got all

and threw my hands up for the day. It was going smoothly until I moved the ladder to the last corner & had to move the pile of sheets The Bitch put out for me to position the ladder. Why were they in a pile? I forgot to put them on the floor

So, now there's drips of paint all over my nice hardwood floor, some in the shape of the bottom of my sneakers

Then, when I was all done & washing up, I realized I was wearing one of my favorite t-shirts & the only pair of jeans I own that fit me, because why would I change into old clothes before I painted??

It's also a good thing she's painting the walls today

There was good news yesterday: A guy that buys ads from me on LOR asked if I had any other sites, so I sent him the master list of 75 domains (most are JR's & mine) and he wants ad space on ALL of them

We've got an open house tomorrow (cutting it close with the painting, huh?

) so I have to tidy up things around here. The Bitch is ANAL about cleaning her house to the point that no one else is allowed to do it, so my tasks will be to just make sure everything is where it's supposed to be

We are getting ready for another cold snap, so I am trying to get everything done at my desktop that I have to... things I can't do on my laptop like building galleries. I can work on almost everything else which is great... so now this next week when it is down into the 20's, I can work in the living room by the fire.

I hate paint drips... of any kind. Especially ones on hardwood floors. So sorry to hear about yours.

We have the inlaws coming for coffee tomorrow after the Finland-Sweden hockey game. It should be interesting... of course, they could come here to watch it.. hmmm

Just an update on the painting fiasco, as she's doing the walls now. I thought I'd help by taping everything off & for some reason, I thought all I had to do was the ceiling. Well, there's 5 doors & trim along the floor, so that took up about 3 hours of my day

Painting is annoying. I still have a back wall on my house I was suppose to paint 2 years ago but for some reason keep forgetting to do

Yesterday was spent running errands for most of the day and then we watched The Mummy with Tom Cruise. I liked it so that's all that matters.

Today I need to straighten up for the birthday party tomorrow and do some more biz work while watching the Olympics

Taping tonights Supercross race with hopes of watching it late tonight after the wife has gone to bed. That is along as there are Olympic events I don't care about, like curling!

I can't get my wife to watch movies as she prefers to watch some stupid tv shows or local news. Sooo, our netflix queue is like 200+ deep of movies. Normally I would watch a bunch and not tell her but she has been at home screwing with my tv/movie/netflix viewing
