Because they want you in the store to talk you into buying from them before you check out anyplace else. It's the same reason that, at least here, any work done on your house they want the wife to be present during the bid/sales pitch. They believe the wife will give in easier and the husband will be a good lap dog and agree with her. This drives me crazy and it's the number one reason why a lot of things have not been done here as I usually tell them to piss off.

Enough of my bitching, not much going on here today but a little work before family shows up for the normal Sunday get together.

I knew Home Depot had them posted on the wall & there's 4 prices: A, B, C, D. The pamphlets had the letter next to the name. So I grabbed one of each pamphlet & took pics of the prices on the wall. The guy asked me what I was doing & I explained to him that no one posts the prices online. He had no idea & thought that was weird, too. My problem now is the lowest price they have is $50/sqft & we need roughly 50 sqft - fucking $2500 min for what I could do with $200 worth of plywood
