It's good to feel better and be able to work without feeling like shit.
So I've been working for a while.
Started the day with a walk of more normal length, which my

seemed to enjoy a lot.

Now I've finished my 2nd cup of

and will dive into some mainstream stuff before I hit my studio for some composing and rehearsing.

Nice, cooler rainy day here. I have a bunch of needlework that needs to be done. I think I am going to award myself some time off today to sit with the husband and stitch. Been pushing pretty hard lately, and I think some downtime will work wonders.

Yes, that's right. Yours truly will spend some time with the unwashed masses & slack-jawed yokel

supporters at what used to be "The Biggest County Fair On Earth" or some other shit like that, but I assume/hope someone sued them for false advertising, because now it's "It's the Best 12 Days of Summer!" Is it?

I can sum up the fair to everyone like this: Think openair Walmart with portable amusement park rides assembled/operated by stoned carnies along with healthy food choices like Donut Grilled Cheese & Bacon, Gator or Shark Kabob's, Surf & Turf Pierogi, Pot Roast Sundae, and basically deep fried anything:

NOTE: This comes on the 8 year anniversary of JR & his lovely wife visiting & going with The Bitch, Yell, etc. as my impolite ass refused to go & sat home. So why am I going today? One simple reason: I'm back to drinking

Good morning all

Working today but it seems I might need to go to Nova Scotia tomorrow, fucking fuck! I don't have time for this shit! Not only am I busy up to my balls trying to finish 3 sites, it's going to cost me around $500 to travel there and back.

All because, long story short, my brother-in-law is totally incompetent and and hasn't been able to get any paperwork right on settling an estate from 3 months ago

Still in pain but it is less so that is a plus so hopefully I am on the right track. Have to go for imaging tomorrow unless my fever spikes again or the pain worsens, then it is off to the ER. I'll explain everything once I know the final outcome of it all.

Because of all that I won't be doing much at all today. A little work while I can stand sitting at the computer followed by laying in bed and taking naps due to waking up every hour thru the night because of the pain. Joy

Obviously, none of the family read the board & I didn't mention what I posted, but my choices were almost perfect:

My oldest stepdaughter & the ASSIL had already eaten a Donut Grilled Cheese & Bacon by the time I arrived.
The Bitch got a Pot Roast Sundae for dinner (along with a deep fried taco)
My youngest stepdaughter got all when she saw the Chester's Gators and Taters stand & ran over for a Gator Kabob

And even though no one tried anything, we were walking & saw a place called Fried Fruit On A Stick and I just stopped dead in my tracks & literally

BTW - Why do I remember a silly show or cartoon that did a bit where one guy would add "...On A Stick!" to the end of everything people talked to him about?

and yes, the State Fairs now all seem to try to outdo themselves on offering everything on a stick so you can wander and eat at the same time. Either that or it is just a contest to see who can come up with the strangest. Some make sense, like the candy bars, but others just seem strange like deep fried beer.
