Security Hole at iBill

The idiots at iBill have a security hole in their RevShare consolidation script which allows other iBill affiliates to see my personal information. I received my second call from the Netherlands this evening, from Michael & Leela (just threw a big party in Amsterdam). When they sign in to check their iBill stats, they can see all of my info, which is how they found my phone number. They have contacted iBill and iBill said that it is no big deal since they can still access their own info as well.

What the fuck? NO BIG DEAL!!! It's a damned good thing I don't make any friggin money doing this.

I received an email from iBill days ago with a list of 16 RevShare IDs, amongst which only 3 were mine. Of course, tonight I found out that a few are Michael & Leela's. Makes you wonder who else's ID's I have control over. Yes, when I log into iBill, I have power over these IDs.

No big deal to iBill though. Cocksuckers.

Re: Security Hole at iBill

Sheesh - iBill has been nothing but bad news for me, and they still are, even a year and a half after I closed my account with them. They are insisting on charging my credit card $750 for annual Visa registration, even though I no longer have an active account with them and have not done any transactions with them for 14 months. They still owe me over $700 in rebill charges that I will never see (their VP of sales even emailed me the section of their ToS agreement that states they may unilaterally withhold any amount of money from a client for any amount of time, without having to provide a reason).

The problem is, even though I pay my annual $750 to Visa though my current billing provider (Paycom), I'm afraid that if I charge back the unauthorized $750 that iBill is insisting on charging me for my nonexistent account, that it will put me in trouble with Visa somehow.

Trust me on this, folks- no one should go near iBill for any reason - they are pure poison. |skull|

Question Thanks for heads up on iBill and a Q

I thought first year visa was 750, subsequent years are 350/375?

Well, yes, that's what was originally presented, but both iBill and, AFAIK, Paycom, are charging $750/yr. even after the first year.

Good luck getting straight answers out of them. I always make sure to get a name - like Prince, most of 'em only have first names, but calling the next day usually reveals that no one with that particular name even works in Client Services.

Of course, I could bitch about Paycom/Epoch, too, but so far Paycom just seems clueless, whereas iBill is both clueless AND downright hostile to their clients as well.
