All the way from Room 101

I downloaded the icoformat file for Windows.
I placed it in Photoshop's Plugins folder. I created a 16x16 and then "Save As" showed an extra file format *.ICO Saved it as an icon and uploaded it with the coding on the index file. Excellent |skull| I used to get my favicons from a JAVA applet on some site someplace. Thanks Cleo & GeorgeTH ![]() Trouble is I don't know about 32x32 etc..... and also these favicons never last more than three or four days.I've had bottles of milk last longer!!! With one exception, http://www.smutgremlins.com/ I have an old MMX200 Mhz PC in my lounge which still has the Smut Gremlins favicon on it. Maybe 3 or 4 years it's been on there..... I remember talking to Emerald about this, asking her how she did it, and I tried to get it to work on another machine, but it never lasted. My conclusion is....... favicons are fuckin' haunted. |ghost| |
