Sunday August 11th - Sleepy Day

We had to go out of town yesterday. The Husband's brother got married in January and only had a small reception after the civil ceremony. They had a much bigger party in her home town yesterday. Naturally, The In-Laws had to go, so off we went. As we were leaving, the skies opened up and we were in the middle of a pretty good thunderstorm. One woman near The In-Laws was unplugging her cellphone from the wall when lightning hit the circuit. She was extremely lucky and only spent the night in the hospital. We had another round of pretty severe stuff around 2am (which totally interrupted my work window!) I think we have been offline more than online the last few days. While I can do some stuff using the hotspot on my phone, my laptop battery never lasts long enough!

So, today is gloomy and sleepy. We have rain and wind but no lightning so far. Maybe I will be able to get stuff done today? Football tonight for us - maybe!!
