Actually, the http://www.impai.org website just came back online for me today (Far-L told me of some dns issues)

I think we raised $1500 - I will have Jim verify that - but we were waiting for the site to come back up so that when we announced it, people had something to read - LOL

Seing that Acacia's income for last quarter was only something like $17,000 for licensing and their expenses were huge in comparison it will only be a matter of time before their shareholders start complaining.

I was one of the first to receive an Acacia letter last year around August and I called Mr Berman and told him I will remove my videos before I ever pay any licensing to them.

I did remove the videos because our video sales were so low that it wasn't even earning us $50 per month.

$1500, including the $1k GG&J threw into the pot?

damn there are some cheap fuckers here. While im proud of GG&J, i know some of you guys could of thrown some coin into the pot. Im in the biggest cash crunch of my life and i did.

Unless im misunderstanding this, its pretty disappointing to me

We are grateful for any donation and everything helps.

Please do not be critical of anyone that has taken the time and spent their hard earned cash to contribute.

Im not being critical of those who took time and spent hard earned cash, im being critical of people who can afford to send money and didnt

I dont want to piss the world off, i just think some more people could have stepped up but they just passed the buck, i thought the ante would be way higher... hey ive tried to raise $ online before for medical care for a relative of a sick friend - raised over 5k and the guy is living a good life now because of the donations that payed for his treatment ... what i realized (generalization) is that its usually the people who dont have much who are willing to give, unfortunately.

Im glad for every cent that was donated though! Just ragging on the cheapskates

Mikey - it's all good I know a couple of people told us they donated already OR were served with papers themselves, in which case, I think they need the money for their own legal woes.

In any event, I know Far-L & the boys were very happy with our donation & every little bit helps

For those of you that wish to donate on your own, you can do so here - http://www.impai.org/

yea i think its important to fight this ridiculous extortion, but having thought about it, i have no idea which members of this board have made private donations, therefore did not throw into the GG&J pot.

Pure and simple i was just surprised by the total because i know the hosts of the board put up 1k and i know what i put in, and believe me im strapped right now. i expected to see a lot more, but again, that is assuming people havent donated directly, so ...

i think it best to say good job GG&J on your donation, raising awareness (i wouldnt have donated had it not been for your newsletter), and thanks to the others who have donated be it with GG&J or on their own

Everyone threw in what ever they could afford. We had donations of $100 and donations of $3. Probably about 20 people donated something.
