As stated in the other thread where you began this.
We are working on adding it into the software to show exactly how many hits go to each page of any tour. I honestly think that is clear enough as to our direction, even prior to this issue. May seem like a 5 minute fix, but software doesnt work that way, when it is released it will be announced at which point it will be in everyone's stats as we had previously planned.

Hey John - yeah but the EPC (earning per click) Exterme Paychecks is one of my best programs and I expounded to the webmasters the importance of EPC over conversion ration in the text above and and also noted that you guys do count your clicks raw.
 If I wasn't making money with you guy then you wouldn't be anywhere near my top ten, seeing as I work with at least fifty different sponsors.

Hey opti, I got an idea if you don't like the way we do things then don't use us! No one is twisting your arm telling you have to be an affiliate of Extreme Paychecks. We do appreicate all the webmasters out there that are sending traffic our way and for that we pay out up tp $40 per sale. Don't like it? Open your own pay sites and start your own affiliate program. This way you'll have something better to do with your time then once again attacking someone you don't even know with bullshit accusations.

Opti - have you ever seen Extreme John? He's a pretty big dude. There have been times I wish there wasn't the internet separting me from someone who's attacking me! Yeah, sometimes it sucks that there boards exist only in a virtual sense... A vicious ass-beating is often a viable business option. I've made a lot of sales with EP, I'm happy with the numbers, I get my checks everytime / ontime, and they always reply to me when I contact them. I don't know what your deal is with them.

On a serious note, Jay I thank you for your input on the thread and ofcourse for using Extreme to begin with, and ofcourse im extremely happy that your happy. Opti, I never had an issue with you bringing up a concern or a question, and I never will have a problem with an affiliate, non affiliate or anyone else bringing something up that they are curious about. It was how the message was brought up, not the message itself. What I will say is that your little side comments and digs are what made this thread go bad, things like: "same as I dont like the way you market yourselves" How do we market ourselves? By purchasing advertising spots on webmasters boards like green guy and jim? or is it the buttons in our sigs that gets you bent? Thought everyone had those little things. Please dont confuse my personal response to someone's personal attacks as marketing, although you may not like my response Im honest (the same way you felt you were being when you brought the topic up), there's no rules that say I need to kiss anyone's ass, because I dont, the same way you dont have to shut your mouth and you didnt. I learned a long time ago that I can create ads that surfers will click like crazy but ratios may go from 1:100 to 1:2,000 when using those. I can do the opposite as well and take ratios from 1:2,000 and send them to 1:100. I can change those ratios without affecting the $$$ I get at the end of the day. Isn't the important thing the $$$ in your pocket at the end of the day? |

Is it just me - or am I the only one reading stats in a dark room?
EP - counts 2nd page clicks mostly though NOT on every site - through a single email I found this out. And I would venture a guess that a single email to EP will list what site counts what hits. CEN, TB and quite a few more - count 2nd page hits Other sponsors count 1st page hits. This isn't rocket science to figure out. Look at your 1st click sponsors - see what you're click through ratio is as an average.. add them all together to get an overview. Look at your 2nd click sponsors - find the ratio to ADD to find an approximate 1st click ratio. Then evaluate the sponsor. You know Your traffic, and You'll know what is normal. Ie 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% of my 1st click sponsors go to page 2. So what is that ratio? And what is the inverse to multiply times? If you're promoting through TGP only, your ratio will probably be low, but through LL and SE traffic, it may be quite high, I don't know. I personally don't see any reason for any of this disrupt a working relationship. Do the math - then  .If it works for you fine, if not, then it's your business decision. This board minimizes nearly All of the GFY B, and endless posts to waste time on. I've found an email here, or an ICQ there solves 98% of problems, my own included! (yes I do promote EP - personally my stats are not out of line with any other sponsor doing the math above - just in case you're wondering) Opti - this message is for not only you and EP, but the many newbies and lurkers this post may supply answers too - K?
