Actually, they've come a long way in root canals even in the past few years. The tooth is rarely pulled and it's not so much different than a regular cavity.
http://www.aae.org/rootcanals.html When I had one done in 2001, I expected a horror. It really wasn't so bad. I was soar the day after, but my old tooth is still there. Technology is good.  |
