Come On Free Site People Get The Recips Right

This is getting out of hand - I am getting way to many sites that have my recip text link color almost the same as the background color or a color mix thats hurts my eyes.. Or other LL recips that are fucked up..

Then the rest of the site looks ok to list - Spend the extra time to make ALL of the recips look right and stand out.. And I bet you will get listed more and surfers will be able to get by the index without sunglasses..

I have edit a lot of recip links because LL owners don't use bgcolor and link color tags or use bgcolor but don't link color.

If recip has yellow as bgcolor and no link color, and my site's bgcolor is black and link color yellow, there is no link to see in recip. But, if LL owners, when they build those table recips, put there bgcolors and text colors and link colors, everything would be OK to everyone.

I hope that's not too much to ask...

and, as I started, many link lists don't have URL for recip link anywhere in their submit pages. It would be nice if every LL has form where I can copy & paste the recip link.

Also, some LLs has lot of errors in their tables. How come their table recips look OK in their page but not in mine, I don't know, but when I check the html it's full of errors, and when I fix them the table looks the same as in LL's page.

I'm not ranting, just telling what I have seen...

Plateman, if you leave it up to the webmasters to custom color your reciprocal...you're going to get a lot of submissions blending into the backgrounds =)

My suggestion to you would be to whip up a table based reciprocal with custom bgcoloring and linking colors...this way regardless of the colors used by the webmaster's main site your recip will show up how you want it to.

It'll save you more time and headache to spend 15 minutes and do that than to constantly have to deal with screwed up submissions.

Also, as a suggestion, you may want to consider redoing your image reciprocal and save it as a .gif instead of a .jpg.... GIFs are much more text friendly albeit slightly larger in size...your current image reciprocal looks a little run down....
