Need some help with color schemes

Im not HTML color talented, here is my latest free site

I really like the redbackground, just need some help fine tuning the colors.

Allready got rejected at cleo's.

As another submitter's point of view, I think you should keep your color scheme close to the site you are promoting which is blue & black and yes your text links on that red background is extremely hard to read

Just my 2 cents

Thanks, I'll fix it up and see what I can do next. I dont think the site is good looking, I just didnt think it was hideous.

Hey dude I downloaded a nice freeware tool called huey - it lets you mix and pick colors and gives the code for it.. If you need a tool like that search google for a download - I got if from a webmaster resource site a long while back..

You could try using Colormatch , it's a pretty handy utility for picking matching color schemes

ColorImpact is awesome if you are color impaired or just want a little design help.
