A million a month!?

My site Rug-Munchers gets a very small fraction of that and i really struggle to think of new ways to try to get more traffic in.

I have trades with everyone i can think of, mirrored entrances with SE specific phrases, 6000 free sites listed now, and exit links from all my free sites, and still i get about 20,000 visitors per month at best.

Can anyone suggest what i might have missed or other ideas to get traffic, (and keep it)
