question for cleo, please..

I would just like to ask as to the reason of this rejection. See, I have so far made only three submissions of free sites to a bunch of linklists and the first two attempts I must admit where feeble and mostly got rejected, mainly because I rushed them and failed to ensure that I had the proper recips and all the links where working correctly, but I have taken them down now anyway.
my last attempt, the third I thought was a better attempt and it was submitted yesterday and has so far already been accepted by a couple of places, but my first rejection was from Cleos linklist out of this last bunch, and I would like some help as to why?

If you dont mind, I have a few suggestions for you...

Some things I have learned from DD that helped:
Font - make your font the same style through your whole site!
Border = 0 on those banners as GreenGuy would say!

Try not to confuse your surfer to much, Make it clean and try only promoting 1 site, you have pain extreme in your galleries, sinfultales, etc.... Build a site for each of these sponsers!
And if you leave those sponsers there, put your galleries at the top so that is the first thing your surfer sees when they enter!

"Dont shove them off before they have seen the Goods!"

Think about it like this,
if you are running an affiliate and that affiliate was shoving ten different sites in your surfers face, would you run them?

thanks heather good tips, as for 404 pages, my images are on my server, I can only imagine that I should have the true link to the images rather than a relative path. I am in the process of changing that now. Also I just noticed that my "back to main page" links dont work.
Ok so once those images are working and maybe change the sponsor promo, is that about it?
or anything else?

HornyHeather gave some good advice.

I never do more then one sponsor per page, but do use more then one sponsor per site.

Also always surf your site once it is on the server to make sure everything works. It is also a good idea to make sure that your site works in both IE and Netscape.

Once you have your site fixed go ahead and resubmit.
