We have a few monitors set at 1280x1024 and one set at 800x600.

 Jeremy-RR, pointed me to viz.co.uk a while back.. and I go and get my fix every now and again.. No one imports Viz out here anymore execpt a few obscure places.. It is still one of the funniest mags on the planet, My "Pathetic Sharks" Special is my fav....and that office is WAAY to tidy mate... The "nail polish remover"............ is not for when I am in the mood to wear Cleo's shoes... but for cleaning my whiteboards.. I am a "list" junkie. DD

Using a high resolution on my monitor strains my eyes. I'd seriously be using 640x480 if I wasnt designing graphics and web pages everyday. Since I do, I keep my monitor at 800x600.

A friend of mine has a beautiful 19" sony flat screen, and he insists it be kept at 640x480. Some people are just wacked I guess.

I also do design and have my monitor set to 800x600... the most popular and my eyes are not so tired working for 14-16 hr. I am checking my work in higher rez also but it makes no sense to lose sales on it, get galleries rejected etc. Just my two cents.
I have an flat rate LCD monitor now and it is less accurate than the classic was, it took me a long time to get used to it.  |
