Everyone is out killing zombies.
Had plans to go kayaking today but Christy still hasn't made a full recovery from the food poisoning over a week ago. So laying here in bed which sucks because it is an absolutely beautiful day out with temps in the seventies. Will probably do some biking and some house cleaning. Maybe if I really want to make today suck I'll also do some work. |

Good morning world
A little cloudy but a very nice day down here too. A few work things on my schedule that I want to take care of, then mostly relaxing while playing around with some new site and design ideas. Anyone else glad to see Orphan Black return last night? One thing's for sure, it'd be really hard to tell Tatiana Maslany that you were bored and wanted to see other women. And since it's that day which is so special that it happens on a different day each year... "Oh Christ, Jesus is coming! Quick, hide the eggs!" Wishing a good day to all.

Good morning.
Been up working for a few hours, even made bacon and eggs for the wife and I since the daughter is away for the weekend. Nothing big planned, just the usual work and maybe some drinks late this afternoon/early evening since we didn't do anything at all yesterday but chill. |

My kids came home from their vacation late last night, so they're home with me now, just chilling and absorbing the Internets. No big plans today other than lounging and stealing candy from their baskets. |

Hi all, hoping you all having a happy easter!
Been making and eating roasted lamb again, can't get enough of that stuff! Calm days, my condition keeps me indoors, my grandson is on a boat-trip with his father and I am basically bored. Not used to being bored. Being bored is boring. Jolly |

I discovered a forum dedicated to retro-computing (Commodore, Atari, Sinclair/Timex etc) a few days ago. Had a bit of trouble signing up because of my Yahoo email address, but got it all sorted now so spent the morning looking over old threads on the board. Trouble is, half the board is dedicated to selling obsolete computer stuff, and judging by the recently sold stuff, they offer so much that I want that it won't be long before I'm in the poor house again (I already bought a joystick interface for my Sinclair/Timex Spectrum.

Since today is a special religious day and I don't pray or go to church anymore (or eat chocolate much). I decided to celebrate Easter by treating myself to roast duck in orange sauce for lunch. That is in the bible, isn't it? That bit that says "And the Lord said unto Moses 'you must eat roast duck in orange sauce on the day that you celebrate my son's resurrection'." (It is just before that bit about children having to eat chocolate eggs until they vomit on the cat.) |

British humor In the greatest days of the British Empire
@ecchi - I read this yesterday and thought you'd appreciate it (though probably heard it before).
-- A new commanding officer was sent to a jungle outpost to relieve the retiring colonel. After welcoming his replacement, and showing the courtesies (gin and tonic, cucumber sandwiches) that protocol decrees, the retiring colonel said, "You must meet Captain Smithers, my right-hand man. God, he's really the strength of this office. His talent is simply boundless." Smithers was summoned and introduced to the new CO, who was surprised to meet a toothless, hairless, scabbed and pockmarked specimen of humanity, a particularly unattractive man less than three feet tall. "Smithers, old man, tell your new CO about yourself." "Well, sir, I graduated with honours from Sandhurst, joined the regiment and won the Military Cross and Bar after three expeditions behind enemy lines. I've represented Great Britain in equestrian events and won a Silver Medal in the middleweight division of the Olympics. I have researched the history of... " Here the colonel interrupted, "Yes, yes; never mind that, Smithers; the CO can find all that in your file. Tell him about the day you called the witch doctor a motherfucker." -- --

Nope LOL. Actually we try not to eat too much greasy junk food such as bacon with her around, we're more healthy with scrambled eggs, oatmeal, yogurt with granola and fruit.

Yeah, I agree, cooking it yourself is best. If I have a kebab I tend to go for chicken. Not only is that a healthier and tastier meat, but it comes in lumps of real chicken meat, and freshly grilled to order. Unlike lamb which comes as processed meat, with added fat, shaped into what looks like a giant's penis, and kept warm on a rotisserie for days with no covering so that flies can add to it's bulk by shitting on it. I eat some revolting stuff at times, but even I draw the line at lamb kebabs! |

Gf's sister tagged her in something on Facebook for easter. GF got really pissed and called her telling her to untag her since she's jewish. Then she suggested that her sister just delete it all together since she's also jewish.
I lol'd so hard because her sister is kind of a ditz.
