Server-side screenshot script
I'd like a screenshot script to run on a server (not PC desktop) that could create a screenshot of a web page when given the URL. Something like Websnapr or IWebTools but it doesn't need to service other users. If you know of a script that performs this function, please give me a shout. I'd prefer that it could run in a *nix server.

I don't know of one but it may be worth searching at www.hotscripts.com - I've found all sorts of useful stuff there at different times.

Sheesh. I may not have used it if I'd known that. Counter-Freudian in her case and she was wearing the slip. It was actually a typo when I signed up with another board, and I decided to keep it.
Which distro do you need the script for? Did you think of trying the distro's forum? Post the question and I have a feeling somebody will have come up with something. Last edited by horney; 2008-01-11 at 09:58 PM.. |

If there is nobody out there, that's a lot of real estate going to waste!

Take a look at this one. They seem to have some way to run server side.

I realize these are not stand alone scripts, but did you see the thumbshots site?
http://www.thumbshots.org/ Between their site and the script mentioned here: http://www.webdeveloper.com/forum/sh...d.php?t=127937 or there is also this site: http://thumbnailspro.com/
