Thursday January 21st (aka My Name Is Jonas)
Morning!
When did they start naming snow storms? http://www.weather.com/storms/winter...ast-january-20 I took a bag of clothes I don't wear anymore to the local clothing thrift shop yesterday. They bought 1 item for $3.50 & gave me back a list of brand names that they are currently looking for. She might as well have just told me that grunge went out of style in the mid 90's I did get $30 from taking back empty cans Working now, chiro later... |

Found out last night that the blood bank is paying $50 per donation and you can donate twice a week. Not really sure if that is something I would want to do, but it is good to know.
Work, gym and tennis tonight is my plans so far for today. |

Really nothing at all interesting happening to me, so instead:
Puppy News Yesterday got an interesting insight in how understanding some dogs can be: There is this dog that the puppy plays with in the park sometimes who ignores me. I'm just the annoying human who keeps the puppy on a lead which makes their games less fun. When they play, they tend to rough house, and the puppy sometimes runs beyond the end of his lead, causing me to drop my end. This happened yesterday, however I did not drop my end, and was pulled over, falling flat on my face on the (frozen) ground. The dog the puppy was playing with (who normally ignores me) immediately ran over to see if I was OK. And when I got up, he refused to play with the puppy anymore in case he pulled me over again! Husky News When I walk the husky, I can always tell if his owners are back, and when there is only one of them, which it is. This is because the husky sniffs the air in the elevator, and if he smells his owner he gets excited. If it is the one who feeds him he gets more excited than if it is the other one. Today he got very excited. More excited than usual, even for the human who feeds him. I assumed they had a visitor who he likes but rarely sees. I was wrong. The husky walked into the apartment. Sniffed the air, then ran over to a shopping bag his owner had just carried in, which contained a brace of pheasants. Apparently pheasant is one of the husky's favourite foods. |
