AdWords Question

I am starting up some PPC stuff again, and I have never done that well with it, but going to try and get it worked out. My question is the domain I want to send to has the word "Dick" in it, so I doubt it will accept that, so I sent it to another domain. This other domain I then redirected to the paysite tour.

Is this OK to do with AdWords? Is there a problem with showing hardcore on the main page with them or redirecting to the proper site? I don't want to get shutdown or anything just curious how they are about it.

Also any ideas how to improve CTR? So far my CTR is in the toilet.

Andy

I've tested AdWords for adult sites and had absolutely no luck with it. I've heard great things about PPC traffic overall, but I've never been able to do a damn thing with AdWords traffic. I've heard some good things about gotosexsites.com, which is essentially the same thing for adult sites only as far as I understand, and there is a new player (owned by the same people) called adultsense.com that is literally an adult version of AdWords/AdSense. I'm testing their ads on a couple of my pages, but they don't have a ton of ads in the system yet.

Don't know if this helps, but I figured I'd give you the couple leads that I have

BTW, if you google "pussy" there's an adwords ad for "penisdance dot com", so apparently google doesn't have problems with adult oriented domain names across the board.

Hi,
This is my first reply post, so I hope it helps!

Google doesn't have that many objections to adult sites, however:
1. Your ad will only be listed if over 20% of the organic searches are also adult orientated
2. They have a list of words which they do not allow you to use in ads and a second list which they do not allow you to bid on. Noone will tell you what is on the list, and the only way to find out is to "suck it and see"
3. They do not seem to mind what url you send traffic to (they call this the destination url), but the display url must be yours and I don't think they will mind if it has the word Dick in it
4. The best way to improve your CTR is to bid high at first and then you will get a high placement.

Hope this helps
