I've lived in South Florida for Andrew, Mitch, Georges, Irene, Charley, Frances, Jeanne, Ivan, and now Katrina. Probably missed a few names, but a lot of hurricanes came through here.

Using the Barbara Bush formula, with that many big storms, I should way more over-privileged by now.

I need to find someone to blame.

The attitude of the administration and many Americans is amazing. Many were complaining that people that needed to make descisions in Washington couldn't be reached over the weekend because of the holiday. People are dead because these bones heads that have cush jobs couldn't put thier vacations on hold.

If this happened in a state run by a Republican Governer then the administration would care. If this happened to a large population of white people then most Americans would care.

Did you see Dubya taking his photo opps yesterday? He looked bored and disgraced at having to be there with those people.

It's really very sad when just because someone believes differently that we feel they are not really human.
