Photoshop Help
Hey guys and gals, I am using photoshop 7.0 to spice up my sites and what not, but I cant seem to go back and edit things once I have saved them and closed them. I can file>open>whatever.jpg but I cant change anything on it. Am I misinng something???

you have to save them as a .psd or one of the other ones (but psd is native to photoshop) in order to save the levels and have access to the work you've done already. If you save them as a .jpg it's just a flat image, ready for the web.
edit; to be clear you need to save them as both, the .psd first if you want to be able to edit it later, then the .jpg/.gif for web use.

If you would like to save just part of image as .jpg or .gif most time you would have to merge layers - make sure you save your .psd files BEFORE you merge them. Otherwise you wont be able to 'separate' them neither with history tab nor undo command (I mean when you reopen them of course)
