Sample Free site - Need comments from LL owners

Hi all,

I am moving into the Freesite arena,
I have a couple of sample sites here for review.

LL owners let me know if this is somthing you would accept, if not, why not.

I think the recips on the index need to be a little bigger font size & you'll probably want to movce that bottom row of recips above the enter link (which is nice, btw)

Plus, you have to host all the content - you can't link to galleries/images/movies on the sponsors domain.

So GG won't accept hosted galleries?
is that similar with the rest of the LL owners on this board?

GG...you guys are giving away a hub with hundreds of free sites (all hosted galleried) but GG doesn't accept them? hehehehe

DD? Cleo? others..whats your thoughts on hosted galleries? ones like my sample..that look clean...and are not all that obvious they are hosted galleries?

I list hosted free sites of my sponsors, but I'd be insane if I listed anyone elses - LOL

I think you'll find most place require all the content to be on the same domain.

Mind helping me to understand why? is it because of the chance of a sponsor hosted gallery (SHG) changing or disappearing? or is there some other reason?

I ask, becuase it seems to me, if the major LL accepted the SHG's there would be a heck of a lot more free sites - which in turn would mean a lot more hubs, and a lot more traffic.

I am involved in a thread on another board...where SHG free sites is being touted as the best way. SO am curious to get a different perspective

BTW...you are correct..most "Major" LL don't accept them...but a lot of smaller ones do...and some major ones do as well as of late.

its pure logic as to why the LL owners wont accept other ppls sponsor hosted freesites\galleries Jack_N...these are sites that require no work \ no hassle..why wouldnt they just list them themselves and get the profit instead of having a 1000 submitters submitting them because they are to lazy to build their own ?

We have a rule that "all content must be on the same domain as the site being submitted". This is mainly done to prevent people from hotlinking pics and movies from other sites.

But lordaron is correct also in what he says.

Ok...fair enough. I guess I don't look at it that way. Lazy has nothing to do with it. Economics does though.
If I can produce 1000 sites in the time it would take me to produce 100 sites, and if each of the 100 sites doesn't produce 10X what one of the 1000 sites would. Then how does it make sense economically?

Besides with software, scripts, etc..that is available now....it does't take that much more time to make a gallery with my own content as it does a sponsor hosted gallery..so lazy doesn't really fit IMHO

1 - don't believe everything you read

2 - if some link lists allow them, then by all means submit to them

I suggest you make your own hub \ linklist with all sponsored hosted freesites and make a link on your freesites stating something like "Visit www.inserturlhere.com for more free porn sites", that way you can take advantage of the feature

BTW I have produced sites with my own content for some time.....the whole hosted gallery thing is new to me...but appears to be much more prevalent and sophisticated than some realize.

1- I don't..which is why I am here asking the other perspective
2- Still trying to decide if there is a place for the sponsor hosted galleries...

Sponsor hosted galleries were made for TGP owners to list, knowing that the TGP owner would get all the sales & not have to pay any of the bandwidth costs.

Hosted free sites are the same, except they are for Link List owners instead of TGP owners.

Now, that being said, tkae the advice given here earlier & build a TGP hub of your own, list all the hosted galleries you like & then link to it form the other galleries & sites that you are building

I dont accept any submitted sponsor hosted stuff, and I dont like downloaded galleries either...

IMO if you are just putting up 'other peoples' work you are not in it for the long haul and its not worth my time listing it.

I would love to know which board it was that was telling you to submit hosted galleries. (I probably could guess)

Lets just say its a well known board....

It is pretty funny.....I am on a side of the adult industry that is quite new to me..
As I have been in the amateur paysite business for sometime.. (all exclusive content..of course)

The whole TGP/MGP, Free Site, LL side of things is something I have been around the edges of, but that is it.

Until now - I have been reading web boards on the subject (yep..thats me the lurker) for several months...
and without fail - there continues to be a large difference of opinion.

We are talking like 10 different web boards...and everyone with a different slant, perspective, view...whatever

Seems to be at least one thing in common though...The people making money.. everyone of them....claim their way works best.

Thanks for the input...from the LL contingent....At least I now know..If I intend on submitting with this group..
I need to have my own content on my own host.

Guess we will find out the rest..as I submit to each of you.
