Need some Freesite advice Please

Hey there,

Yes, i'm a newbie, I've made about 10 freesites so far and have started to submitt them to link lists. I've been told by some lists that my site <a href="http://www.freepornpig.com/blowjobclub/index.html">Freepornpigs-blowjobclub</a> well, it needs improvement.

I would really appreciate if anyone could take the time to look at the site and give me any pointers. And if youre bored, look at my other sites on <a href:"http://www.freepornpig.com">www.freepornpig.com</a>

Thank you

Pornpig

Hi pornpig, and welcome to GG&J.

I agree, your site could use some improvements. There isn't a single item that stands out as an instant decline, but on a bad day the cumulative effect might come out in your disfavor.

Designwise the site is a little blah, and magenta, yellow and lime on a light blue background isn't the best color combination.

You only have 6 recips. It would be better if you upped that to 12 or so.

The back button on your 2257 page is in itself a violation of most LLs rules. The fact that it actually closes the page instead of going back is probably very bad for sales.

Your pics are too small for the emerging standard of 1200 px total and will get you declined some places.

Hi there and good to see you here pornpig

Index page:
First of all you might want to reconsider your choice of colors. A red title on a blue background is pretty hard to read.
That recip to your hub (http://www.freepornpig.com ) could be counted as one of the 3 allowed outgoing links. Be careful with that.

Main page:
Again the red text on blue background
The center banner looks like it's been in a hurricane

Gallery pages:
Again the color scheme. Red&Blue, Blue&Black, Blue&Green, ... are all combinations that don't go very well together.
On your first gallery page you've got 4 outgoing links, many LL's only accept 3

Also, a description like "Free pics of Babes waiting for you to feed them your load" won't get you very far.
Best thing is you really describe what the surfer will see on the pictures, don't try to use sales text in your description (I know those girls aren't waiting for my load ). Try using something like this "Two galleries of babes sucking hard dicks completely dry".

1. Fix this code on your index page
---
<link rel="shortcut icon" < a href="favicon.ico" </a>
---

2. Also you have a link to sponsor with no anchor text:
---
<p align="center"><a href="http://www.guerilla69.com/?ape=gt7502&grid=198"><font size="4" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b><br>

<p align="center">&nbsp;</p>
---

3. That what others said about colors.

4. You search engine optimization is not good. Check out some SEO guides, just learn the basics about page titles, meta tags and keyword density and placement.

5. It looks like you resized 400x300 banner on main page with width="280" height="300" in img tag. That's why it looks hurricane-struck.

I haven't checked all your pictures but atleast the 1st picture in gallery 2 links to a wrong fullsize pic.

Also, some of your links are blind, that will get you declined most places

I see your recip to freepornpig leading to a hub and should not be in the recip table. Since its a 2 link recip that makes 5 outgoings on gallery 1 and 4 on gallery 2.

It would be best if you removed all those recips and add a proper LL recip. Then add one link going back to your hub to each page, remember it counts as one outgoing so make sure to remove some links to sponsors so they only total 3 on each page.

Since you are just starting, being simple on design is a good place to start. Simple will at least get you listed, maybe no sales directly from that site but the link backs to your hub could pay off down the road while you improve site design and marketing.

You don't need to have the 2257 link on your gallery and main pages. Just the index. Try and play around with color schemes. The red on blue background really hurts the eyes.

Did your lawyer supply you with the section to the code or regulations that your are basing this advice on?

Hope you did not take my question wrong. I was interested in finding the reference on where it was wriiten. I don't know that your tip is wrong.

I have done a little reading about 2257. Best I can remember the proposed regulations required it on the entry page. Now, you would think that meant the index page but if I give you the URL to http://mydomain/freesite/main.html does main.html becomes an entry page? Who knows how Justice would interpete it.

I have heard that someone was writing a script to make everything go the index page to do a sign in before any of the other pages could be viewed.

For as I know lots of this stuff is up in the air so maybe our tip to newbies would be 'ask your lawyer'.

Undoubtedly you can count on an interpretation most favorable to their prosecution and least favorably to you.

What you point out is something that has been the squeaky wheel in my mind all along. Linking to anything other than a warning page would seem on the face of it difficult and making the 2257 act useless and unenforcable. Direct pages are commonly linked to and a webmaster can't be responsible for how his pages get bookmarked so that would suggest either 2257 info on every page or an act that has no practical usefulness whatsoever.

Since this came up again in my mind I did some quick research cause didn't we also have a little thing called HR 4472 along with 2257 amendments? Sure we did. A quick review of sources including http://www.xxxlawnet.net seems to come up with the general guidance that 2257 info should be placed on every page where a covered depiction is placed. Secondary producers also got reincluded in new language and if are not a member of the FSC are not covered by the temporary restraining order. Bottom line if you want be safe include it on all pages with pics and then consult you lawyer. Wouldn't it be nice if more were members of FSC?

Maybe a useful tip! Place a server side include at the end of each page - inc-warning, inc-main, inc-gal1, inc-gal2 and you might decide that some could be blank for now. Then when all this is decided you can simply edit four pages to cover all your free sites.

Agreed I put the 2257 on every single page. You never know the entry page a searcher may hit. Which brings up another concern I saw somewhere and can't remember where I saw this. It was a list of zip codes where 'objectionable content' was outlawed. Now this term is up for interpretation and 10 grand later you win and stay out of jail!

The question is, the hosting zip code or the owners zip code?

Cheers
