From The Newsletter (A Message To All Sponsors)

I keep seeing sponsor after sponsor sending or posting press releases saying they do not support Zango. And, while I applaud all sponsors doing this, I think I have to tell all of you how to truly insure that you are not supporting Zango.

I have known this for some time and have only shared this with a few sponsors so I could keep an eye on it. But, there is an Exclusion List for Zango. And, the only way to truly support the webmasters and not support Zango is to be added to that list. So far, there are only 2 large sponsors on that list and only 1 has come out with a press release saying they do not support Zango. The other, I am told is holding off announcement to bring a lawsuit to any and all people that place them on a "so called Zango list". I have tried to tell everyone within listening distance that a list was a bad idea.

To truly not support Zango, have your lawyer draft a demand letter and send it to...
Zango, Inc.
3600 136th PS SE
Bellevue, WA 98006
demanding to be placed on their Exclusion List.

And please, don't say you don't support Zango anymore until you are on this list.

Yep, it really is a simple thing. Even if you go to some legal form site and buy a $10 demand letter and fill in the blanks.

I watched this list since November 1st. At that time, there were a few no name adult programs listed. Since they were added before the zango shit hit the adult fan, I am guessing these companies are how they are getting into the adult world. Now, I have gotten all the information I need from the list so, I decided to make the process public.

One funny thing about the exclusion list is that zango is included. So, you can't use zango to promote zango games, chat...etc

Well done Jim

I installed the shit on my laptop yesterday...very interesting to see it in action. One of my favorite sponsors has been doing extremely poorly the past few months...think I now know where some of those sales have gone

You may or may not be able to blame your sponsor. I have worked with a couple of our sponsors and have found that if nobody is using keywords for their site, zango has no problem with opening their own account through a 3rd party or even several accounts.

Sponsors can't just look at checks going to Bellevue, WA either. There seems to be a network all around the country working with zango.

I had thought of posting the list of the no-name adult sites that appear on the exclusion list since they are most likely part of the network. But, again...I really am not going to take any chance of getting it wrong. Too many people have already done that

Yea Jim...given who this sponsor is, I highly doubt that the program is doing it. It's much more likely their sites were good enough that zango decided to target them anyway and sell off the traffic. Though the pop ups that arise are very familiar and admitted zango supporters

Can anyone help out with a link to such a site on line where I can get one of these letters?

Just search for either "legal forms" or even "demand letter" and you will get the idea of what you need. A demand letter is basically what it sounds like.

Great advice Jim.
On that same note - you may want to give them ALL the domains you own and advise them of any FUTURE ones you will acquire. Then all you do is update them when you buy a new domain.

I noticed Greenie posting about Zango in another thread.

Think we could get all the processor link codes(refer.ccbill.com) added to the list.|goodidea
