So, do movie FS convert better?

I ran a search here and the threads that came up were from 2004-5. I wonder how are things for you guys today? I just had a look at my stats and I don't think movie sites are actually making me more sales than picture sites. BW isn't much of an issue anymore and I don't have thousands of FS out there to really draw any hard conclusions, so I thought I'd ask for opinions here.

I can't say I'm using a different marketing strategy, other than when going with pics, telling them that they can join the paysite for the movies, with movies, I'd be saying something like "join for the full movie" or "join for more movies".

Ideas, thoughts, tips and tricks always appreciated

Movie sites should be used to sell sites that specialize in movies.

A pic free site promoting a movie paysite is really a hard sell.

Not sure what you mean by "specialize" in movies.

Looking at the majority of the sponsors sites that I promote, they usually focus on a niche where movies are the main item on the menu. With most of them, definitely the ones that serve exclusive content, it's about the movies, with the pictures being a by-product of the same scenes. I am pretty sure that surfers today expect movies on a paysite.

So, are these considered sites that specialize in movies? or do you mean these giant video all-in-all hubs?

It wasn't always that way

But now that more & more people are on dsl or cable connections, the broadband aspect of the site is pushed a little more.

I havent made anything but movie free sites for over a year now, so I couldnt really say. But I would think that people that have broadband connections are the people that are mainly looking at movie sites and chances are people with broadband have more money since broadband is more expensive. And I would guess people with more money are people that would be more likely to spend the money for premium porn.
