Good Morning. Wife is gone away and the son stayed at a friend's last night and I stayed home and watched a couple of movies. Fuck I'm boring. LOL At least I stayed up until 1:30 but here I am up early since the contractor will be here at 9am.

I gave my tickets to my step-daughter for tonight's Sabres game, which means I'll be in the Pool House watching it in HD on the HDNet (this was the main reason I gave away my tickets - lol)

Of course, this also means I needs to clean the Pool House before everyone gets here to watch the game with me.

I feel like i'm in a time warp...

Apparently last night Rug Dawg's ancient godmother changed the clocks in the kitchen and living room to reflect tomorrows DST .. so as i padded out to get my coffee i thought it was an hour later than it really is.. now i'm back in my semi-office and wallah all seems to right with the world.

NASCAR has offically taken over Vegas.. so hopefully some of those left turn dollars will end up in my pocket today..

Hubby has a couple big catering jobs so he won't be around much. There is a band I really like playing at a bar not to far from here. Trying to find a friend who wants to go. I feel like dancing

Just getting back in from some morning exercise, walking around the outdoor fleamarket for an hour, then washing the jeep. Day was too damn nice to stay inside. Time to read the board and see if we have an OTB today.

After having an HDTV tv for about a month now I finally figured it was time I called the damn cable company to come out and hook up an actual HDTV box. This was a first time ever I think they did the expect us from 1-5 thing and the guy actually showed up a little past 11. After watching the regular HDTV channels I got for an hour or so, I was already hooked and called the cable company and added more. The wife will probably wanna shoot me when she finds out that I just upped the cable bill even more

I put in a good weeks worth of work this week so I figured I deserve to give myself the weekend off, other than the daily submit and site reviewing I am not doing a damn thing

yo. Had medium night last night. picked friend up from airport and went out for happy hour and ended up downtown at an irish pub but managed to pull out of the drinking before the late night club session began and afterhours back at a hotel. Thank god. Was able to get up and workout this morning and am feeling better for it. Had a lot of txt msgs telling me how big of a pussy I was for not going...whatever though not like it won't be happening next weekend. Only reason I actually went downtown anyway was because a friend is going away and moving south of the border to live in todos santos and become a surf bum. Have a good day all. Off to run errands.

I'm about to turn into one of those too. I have a big Panasonic plasma being delivered next week, and I got the HD box, but I also already had the local cable company send an installer here on Friday to run a new cable line directly from the drop to the jack where the tv will go...just to be sure there's no signal loss. Once the tv gets here I'll be all over them to get all the HD channels tuned in perfectly, then it'll be time to start pestering them to add more, more, more... I really needed a new hobby, so this should be perfect.
