I don't have a link to it but earlier this year the results of a long term study was released where the lung disease rates of cigarette only smokers and cigarette smokers who also smoked weed was released and cigarette smokers who also smoked weed had lower lung disease rates.

I was always worried about lung disease since I also smoked a lot of weed but it is looking like weed, like wine, actually has health benefits.

Now if only I didn't have to worry about being arrested or remembering what I did last week.

Get Vickie some Naked Papers. I ordered some after seeing them plugged on Weeds and they really are great papers.

There used to be a guy on some board that went by the name of Mr Green. He would send you weed and if you liked it, you paid him via paypal. If you didn't you had to send it back. I don't think he was around too long.

They'd have to formulate a pill from the active indgredient. Smoking anything is bad for you. It's likely that smoking/burning the cannabis is destroying many of its potential benefits. Of course, I'd bet most people wouldn't care to legalize it quite as much if it only came in pill form and didn't make you high when taken.

For the record, I think it should be legal. But I also think it should smell better.

IMHO using Glass or a water pipe would be a better way to go.
I smoke from glass every day. I had my "getting old " check up recently. X- Rays show there were no signs of lung damage yet. Not bad for an every day 3-4 times daily toker going strong for 16 years.

FYI I exercise, surf and do martial arts . So that helps too. Some of my toker friends don't exercise and there is a physical difference. So a good jog around the park does some good.

The thing weed does when you smoke it is it makes you hungry. When going through chemotherapy you have got to keep your fighting weight up. If it drops too much or too rapidly, you get a feeding tube.

digifan, when we first went to see the oncologist, we both saw 3 guys that looked like skeletons. We made it our goal to keep her weight up no matter what. I sometimes force her to drink milkshakes made with chocolate milk, chocolate ice cream, chocolate syrup and a chocolate instant breakfast.

Nothing like a 2400 calorie milkshake to keep the weight up.

I've read that a study trying to prove that marijuana causes lung cancer actually proved that THC is good for you as it kills any old cells, thus disallowing cancer to develop, spread, create tumors, etc.

Cannabis is supposed to be a good natural pain killer and is far safer than the shit i have to rely on such as paracetamol and dihydrocodeine which makes you feel like shit most of the time.

They say the only reason they don't legalise it is because they can't tax it which is typical of greedy goverments, especially our goverment who are the only goverment to tax bio fuels.

I still smoke mostly, but ever since I had to eat a quarter oz of black years ago that's been my preference, just make it pill sized and wash it down a gram at a time

Hits ya in about 45 minutes and lasts for hours, no munchies and an "everything is funny" kind of buzz, as opposed to a "what was I saying?" kind of buzz. A gram will do it, I only ate the quarter because it was a use it or lose it kinda deal

That's almost exactly what happened to me at that strip bar. The local undercover where paying way too much attention to me. Almost paralysed, so I just told the waitress to keep bringing me drinks, and have some of the girls come around occasionally to make me look mobile.
