DET 3 - PIT 4 (God I am tired..)
I have just been awake for 26 hours... watched the game (started 02.00 in the morning and was finish just in time so my son could see the last period before school) and it was a good game.
So many swedes in Red Wings so it feels like cheering for Sweden ! So, what do you think? I think the Red Wings will win the cup in game 6 even thou Pittsburgh are very good in Mellon. /Thomas

Yeah, it was a great 3rd period until the last 34.4 seconds.... I think it will be the 'Wings in 6 as well, at least I hope so.

I enjoyed the game too and it kept me off the pc all night. I don't think I would fancy playing with a broken nose though. That must be sore as hell by now.

That was my favorite part of the game
I tried to stay up, but I dozed off after the 2nd OT. I woke up to some strange show on CBC & was too groggy to look for the score. I woke up to see Penguins force Game 6 with triple-OT stunner in the middle of my iGoogle homepage & now I'm happy I like Pittsburgh because NY touches Pennsylvania |

You can now put whatever you want in this space :)

My husband and I were watching it in bed, but he fell asleep in the 2OT. It's probably a good thing he did fall asleep as he is a huge Red Wings fan.
For my sanity go Red Wings |

Morning all 3:45 midday here and ....i learned a new word "humid" weather...well for me, the weather sucks for today!
I woke up painless...so nice to not have any jaw pain or tooth pain after 5 weeks or so of hell pain. Still i overslept, so one kid late at school the other kid sick and me trying to be superman because i needed to be at an appointment in 45 minutes in an other town...but all worked out fine today and i shut off my mobile phone, because i cant hear one more time that phone ringing!!! If i am right i can sit and relax and watch some telly today and getting the energy for a new hectic day tomorrow! I wish you all a great day and eve |

Great game, great series! The speed was incredible! After being lulled to sleep by the Leafs all season it was great to see how the game should be played.

Great game and I think that the Penguins have a bright future.
So glad to see Nick with the cup. He is a great player and a great person. I met him when I was living in Detroit a few years back and I have to say he is a great. Way to go Red Wings! |

Over all, in regards to the entire 2008 playoff’s, I thought there was some very good games, very happy for the 'Wings and very scared of the Pens in the future.
I am of course happy they won, but not as happy as I could have been had they won it in game 5 like I expected, that goal at 34.5 seconds really took the wind out of my sails, but fuck it, Lord Stanley is home! |

Yeah, great playoff!
I really like the way Wings play. Pittsburgh with all those young players will win next year, I am pretty sure! /Thomas (who just got back from the coma from a bunch of nightly games...) BTW: ZETTERBERG RULES! First in offence zone and first back in defence, thats a teamplayer!

Thomas - who would you have rooted for if it was Ottawa vs Detroit?

There are so many swedish players in Detroit so its hard not to root for them. I think Alfredsson is one of the best swedish players thru history but Zetterberg is better. Peter Forsberg was great but I believe that Zetterberg will be even greater. Z has many years left in NHL. If he continues with his hardwork and keep doing the unexpected, he can be one of the greatest in NHL, imho. /Thomas
