I just ran my monthly LinkBot & had to remove 1470 free sites - 99.44% of them were dead because the domain expired

My bot runs daily.

Not too many days go by without removing a bunch of expired domains.

The really annoying ones are the ones that the domain is still active but their hosting has expired so I have to watch them for a week or so to see if their hosting gets turned back on.

It's fucking brutal out here. Most of the drops I've decided on are already done, but who the fuck knows what I am going to decide to drop again next year.

I just deleted 1000 sites from one of the linklists I recently purchased, #1-FreePorn, and I'm not even done yet... So many expired domains.

All the freesites I built 10+ years ago are still up and running.

The problem is half the programs I'm using on them have gone out of business.
I really need to update.

Lol I was thinking the same thing. I ahve a lot of old domains sitting there with directory upon directory of useless sponsor links...
