Free sites with content, money ratio

Thanks for the warm welcome.

I have a question about free sites:
By paying hosting and pictures, how much do you make out if it from your free sites?

And what kind of stratagies do you use to make users believe that actually there are more of your pictures in the sponsor's website? (or even videos maybe)

you have to be a good salesman. Tell them how they'll benefit from clicking on your sponsor, check the sponsor out yourself so you can prepare them for what they're going to see. Presell like crazy.

and as far as the money.. that's up to you, but remember, freesites are for traffic.. once you get your traffic base built up then you have something worthwhile. Build as many freesites as you can, don't rely on just a few.

Ok. Obviously you have the make a lot of free sites to build traffic, however, this also means that I have to buy a lot of legal pictures which costs a lot of money.

I don't want to use illegal content and submit it to linklists all the time. Thats easy to do, but illegal.

You need to have hosting, cheap at about $40/month for newbies or less. You need content. The best thing to do is buy package deals where you get 500 pics for like $49 or similar rather then buying a single set for $10-$50. That way you can use the pics to make a lot of free sites.

Small amount invested but you need to invest (like any business) to have a chance at making any money at all.

Really, for $200 you could have hosting and content for the first month no problem.

yes you need legal content that you own. You can use sponsor content if you want to, but that ties you down to that one sponsor.

Just do it as a daily routine and try to build and submit one per day after a while, let’s say two to three months, you’ll see some nice returns of your efforts on a daily basis, and if you stick to programs that gives you a recurring percentages you can build up a rather nice cash flow. But, again it’s darn hard work that can take you there, and nothing else.

As far as the content, there are many good places to by content from that charges you around 5-15 bucks for a set of 100 pics and that’s 5 free sites. Then you have the content that you’ll get from your sponsor and if you use it wisely and try to do something unique with it, and follow the rules, you should not have any problems getting listed.

Compared to 3 or 4 years ago, content & bandwidth are cheap. I look at it this way: bandwidth is a given - I've got 3 servers & pay X amount for them with bandwidth, so for me anyway, the more sites & galeries I make, the better off I am

Content is also a given, but I have so damn much of it from past projects that I could probably build sites & galleries using it for the next 3 years & not have to duplicate myself - LOL - but like I said, content is cheaper these days & you can use it more than once (just not in a small time frame - LOL)

By the way i was doing freesites before, but I guess by that time content and hosting was really expensive.

$40 per month for hosting was equal to 30 gigs of bandwidth. I don't know how it is right now, but I remember that it did not used to be enough for my freesites even though there were not many of them. And I was optimizing pics and other stuff. I was recieving so much traffic from Tommys, Greenguy and others that the bandwidth was limiting me big time and my ratio's were dropping too.

The other problem was also that my sponsors converted best with centerfold pics mainly softcore. Quality girls like Nikki Nova, Tera Patrick...Many of the content providers had shitty pics for the amount of money you are talking about. Maybe its different now but I guess I have to research.

Let's say that your fee site does 5 gigs of bandwidth (and that's probably a bit high) Using your figures, that'd be $7 - you make just one PPS sale & you get $30 which is of course a $23 profit.

Based on that profit margin & the goal of getting one sale, things look good IMHO

I'd throw in the cost of content, but I haven't bought any in so long I don't know what the going rate per pic is - LOL

One more thing: When i buy my content is it for my domain only or can i use it on some freehosts to increase my traffic?

That depends on the license that you get from the content company, you should always review the license before you buy anything, so it complies with your needs. But usually you could use the content on 5-10 domains.

BTW, why should you use free hosts? They only steal your traffic with their banners and redirects, totally useless, go with your own paid hosting instead.

NEVER use a free host! Hosting is too cheap and many sites will not list you.

our license states that you can use the content on an unlimited number of your own domains.

As others have stated, freehosts aren't really the way to go, I know money is tight for you right now, but if you can afford the basics, it'd be a very good investment for you.

Get yourself a host, there are a lot of good deals on hosting out there, Here's one that I know about http://www.69-host.com I just remembered, he's setting up new servers right now, he should be up and running in a day or so

Then I thought I can use freesites if I buy so many pics, but of course I don't want to use freesites anyway. However, if you think about it how da heck am I going to make money. Ok, having your own domain and hosting is cool, but I wonder if I can really make good money of those pics. Considering if I have 15,000 pics, I don't really loose anything on freehosts do i? But if I don't convert good with those pics on my own host then I'll loose money. Anyways it was just a stupid idea, no one wants to use a freehost :-)

That brings up another question: Who uses the freehosts if you don't give licenses? Guys who use illegal content? Then why do you list them :-)

Free hosts are BANNED at most Link Sites and many TGPs. That's why I said to not use a freehost. You need to stop wasting time thinking about using a free host because it is never ever worth it. Never!

I know for many people money is not easy to come by but...
Domain - $10. Host - $40. Photo set - $50.

Make 5 free sites next week with that $50 worth of content using 4 pages per site with 9 link list recips on it like this: domain.com/amateur/index.html, domain.com/amateurs/index.html, domain.com/amatuer/index.html, domain.com/amatuers/index.html. That will give you 36 link lists to submit to for each of the 5 free sites so 180 total links to you. Use a sponsor that pays $30-40 per signup like TopBucks, TriplexCash, ************* and all you need to do is make 4 sales to make money. That's not even 1 sale per site.

If I'm understanding your comments.. you said you don't want to use freesites.. You do understand that freehosts and freesites are two different things right?

Yes, what you loose on freehosts is sales, you loose sales to the banners they run. You also loose any search engine traffic you get from these sites, it goes straight to them long after you stop hosting with them.

With freehosts, there's no real investment return for the time you spend.

Now some knowledgable people use freehosts for tgp, but as Ramster said most won't accept them anymore.

These days hosting is so cheap there is no need for freehosts. Freehosts make their money off newbies that are afraid to get into the business by spending a very small amount of money.

Freehosts are ok to get your feet wet, and learn html, but I wouldn't suggest using them for any length of time.

I told you guys I don't want to use a freehost. And of course i know the difference between a freesite and a freehost.

The reason i was asking these questions were because of what happened with my past experience.

You guys are relaxed, there is no problem for you. You say put galleries and make money. Nope, thats not the case for me. If I start doing that I must make at least $1000 profit first month.

Why?

1) %95 of the sponsors won't wire transfer below $1000 or whatever.
2) %95 of the sponsors won't send me checks either because they don't allow my country for some gayass reason.
3)Even if they do pay me, it takes time to get the check here by mail and to get it verified. Usually I loose 3 weeks right there.

Anybody can see my reasons? Under these sponsor conditions,I can't run a good business where I can see my profit and loss in a month.

Why did I mention freehosts?? If you think about having a lot of pics with you, you can make lets say 50 galleries for your domain and 50 for freehosts. I am trying to reach the wire transfer limit here. However, I didn't know the freehosts are not accepted anymore.

Actually that's why my first post was about Ibill, because I am sick of these sponsors' rules. Probably they do have some reasons, but if they don't allow my country what am I supposed to do??? Signup with a shitty company who doesn't convert at all???

Maybe I should just use Ibill, run a small paysite, and forget about freesites thing :-)

Check epassporte.com to see if they allow your country? If they do signup with sponsors that pay via epassporte and you can go to any ATM and take your money at anytime you want to.
