ASPs

Hi everyone,
I have a quick question:

Is there a downside of using ASPs on your website and when you submit it to link sites? (speed-wise or approval-wise)

I like it because i can include my other pages.

Anything out of the normal will cause you site to get a very good looking over and may even get you declined at some places.

Today I got a site full of banner rotator code. Seeing as I really didn't think the content was that great I decided it wasn't worth my extra time it would take to see what banners were in rotation and hit decline but if they were static banners then I may have accepted it.

Anything that makes the reviewer's job more difficult doesn't help with you getting listed.

I would have to see an example.

My simple advice is just to follow the simple rules that the link list have provided no more and no less because if they have been doing it this way so long it has to be a reason for it. My goal is usally just not to do anything that would make the reviewer have to look over my site twice. Hope things work out for you.

I found that having AWStats and Analog on my server gives me all the stats information that I need.

Do you mean Active Server Pages?

Are you using Windows 2000/NT hosting for free sites/galleries?

Forget about ASPs :-)

Dude, so many things have been changed since i left this business. I tried to submit my galleries to some major TGPs and they are asking for partner accounts and stuff like that...

And for some gay-ass reason some of their scripts does not like my gallery either. I guess i used style sheet by mistake and their scripts did block me or something.

Anyways i would like to target smaller TGPs, where can i get a list of the TGPs here? Do you just look at the TGP board???

Hehe, if it was for the pantyhose niche then it was probably mine. Oh well. I understand the dilemma that the large volume link lists owners have since there are a lot of people trying to cheat and cut corners. Sadly those of us who run an ethical, professional business have to live with the fallout of a bunch of idiots.
