The Freesite Mystery
Hi All,
This seems like the best board to be asking a freesite question, so here I go. There are probably 100 link lists out there worth submitting to if the process can be expedited. I believe I've figured out a way to do that, so that's a problem solved. The real problem is figuring out recip placement that will get me listed. I understand that most linklist owners want their recip to be on the index page, that makes sense. How then to solve this problem without designing 10 different freesites to get all 100 recips on the pages. Is it possible to build one freesite, then basically duplicate it in 10 different directories. For example: www.mydomain.com/freesite/ www.mydomain.com/freesite1/ www.mydomain.com/freesite2/ www.mydomain.com/freesite3/ etc, etc, etc. Will this get me listed, or will I only be accepted at the sites that have their recips on freesite. Am I better off going with something like this: www.mydomain.com/freesite/ www.mydomain.com/free-site/ www.mydomain.com/freesites/ www.mydomain.com/free-sites/ So it's not quite as obvious that it's the same site simply duplicated in another folder? One other question. I've been putting 9 recips on my warning pages. Is this too many, or is this just right? Your help is greatly appreciated. Brett
