Gonzales calls for mandatory Web labeling law
Web site operators posting sexually explicit information must place official government warning labels on their pages or risk being imprisoned for up to five years, the Bush administration proposed Thursday.
http://news.com.com/Gonzales+calls+f...3-6063554.html Ok, I've been totally consumed with a project since last week, so not sure if this was posted already or not, but what a bunch of BS! |angry| |
Not to worry, it is another selective law that will get struck down in the courts (if it ever got passed which is highly unlikely). You cannot restrict or block free speech, it is a pretty simple concept. It would only work out if ALL websites on the net were required to label ( from disney to hardcore porn). Otherwise it is a selective restriction of free speech, which usually doesn't go too far.

Since Gonzales is funneling funds away from fighting cp, what does that tell you about him and the administration? Other then these are some very sick people. |
