Setting Up Wireless - help
I am setting up wireless for my house and am having a hell of a time wth a new laptop I have. My current laptop connects no problem at all but I cannot get this new laptop to connect.
When I go to Network Connections it shows a wireless and it shows my wireless card, Atheros AG5005G so I know it is there. The device manager shows it is working properly. I am sure it is something simple but I cannot figure it out. Urg!!!
I think it is an issue with the new laptop never ever connecting to wireless before and it cannot find it. Under wireless properties I click Configure for the netword card used then click Advanced. On the old laptop under Property there is a "Channel" and it is set to 06 (which is correct) but on the new laptop there is no "channel" option at all.
Anyone got any advice?
