I'm here to make everyone happy - submitters, surfers & myself. To me, this is not that big of a deal.
People have bitched for the last year that 800 was too small, so I increase that as well as some other things based on that & it's a bad idea?

I donīt think two additional pics will have any influence to the signups. But on the other hand content requirements are growing steadily.
The only really bad thing coming with the 12/24 pics rule is that I canīt build freesites easily from my galleries. Iīm using 20 pics for galleries and could split those pics on two freesites. Now I have to use 4 more pics, so I have to change my building process.
