The Southern church culture at one time had many positive aspects..brother helping brother, social interaction, etc. But so many of the mega churches have become political arms of the parties' agendas. It's a little unsettling to me since the church has been used at various times in history for all kinds of ungodly activities...usually the result of a merger between religious and political leaders.
