I heard about this back in November, total BS if you ask me. Invoice them? Really?
Sadly it is likely due to taxes and the corrupt governments we all deal with. When I was audited a few years ago they didn't allow a simple fucking payment I made to people via Paypal and ePassporte (listed as Contract Labor) without an invoice which was essentially all of it since it was 2007 and 2008 and you essentially agreed on a price for something and paid the person and they sent you your graphics or fixed your code or whatever it was you needed.
